Loma de Tiscapa Historical Park
In the Loma de Tiscapa Historical Park stands the figure of the General of free men and women Augusto C. Sandino where the presidential house of the Somoza once existed, built on the Tiscapa hill. This was the scene of the peace talks between President Juan B. Sacasa and Augusto C. Sandino from 1933 to 1934, which tragically ended in a betrayal of El General Sandino.

The millennial Footprints of Acahualinca, are human footprints located in the vicinity of Lake Xolotlán or Lake Managua, they were accidentally found in 1874 by some workers. They date back 6,000 years, making them the oldest human footprints in the Americas. Initially it was believed that the footprints corresponded to about 10 people (men, women and children) who were looking to escape from the eruption of a nearby volcano, but a study ruled out this idea and the hypothesis that the people were not escaping from any eruption is handled. they were just on their way to the lake in search of food and water. In homage to this event, the Huellas de Acahualinca Museum was created, located 4 streets to the west and 1 street to the north of the Santa Ana Church, in the municipality of Managua.

Located in the municipality of Tipitapa, North highway km 39 ½, 3 km. to the south, we find a cultural and historical heritage of Nicaragua. This building was the Gran Hotel de Managua before the 1972 earthquake. It is currently the headquarters of the National Orchestra and the National Choir of Nicaragua. Apoyeque Volcano viewpoint in Mateare.

El Chocoyero Wildlife Refuge - El Brujo

National Zoo of Nicaragua
The zoo, located at kilometer 16 on the highway that goes to Masaya, is the largest in Nicaragua, and exhibits more than eight hundred species of national fauna, most of them wild and some domestic, as well as several exotic specimens from distant places. Like Africa, Asia and Australia, some of the animals that can be seen here are of species that are even in danger of disappearing, and that can only be found in minimal quantities in the thickest of some of the country's forests and jungles.
